JPG vs PNG vs WebP: Which Image Format Is Best?
Mint currently supports JPG, PNG and WebP images. Each image can be up to 10 MB. SVG and animated image formats are not supported at this time.
JPG
JPG is usually the best choice for photographs and images with many colors. It can produce smaller files, but it uses lossy compression and does not support transparent backgrounds.
PNG
PNG is a strong choice for screenshots, interface images, graphics and images that need transparency. It preserves sharp details but can produce larger files than JPG or WebP.
WebP
WebP is a modern format that can provide very good image quality at smaller file sizes. It works well for web images when you want a balance between quality and transfer size.

How do I upload an image?
Choose images from your device, drag them into the upload area, or paste an image from your clipboard.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
Yes. Images are uploaded through Mint and receive a public share link.
Can I choose how long an image stays available?
Yes. You can choose from one hour, one day, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, or keep the image available indefinitely.
